Scheduling Vacation/Time Off

Note:  If the employee you are scheduling for vacation/time off is a service provider, check the Appointment Book to make sure there are no appointments booked on the requested days off.  If the employee has appointments booked on these days, contact the clients to rearrange the appointment for a different day or service provider.


  1. Select Schedules > 12 Month Schedules.

The 12 Month Schedules window displays.

  1. Select the employee to schedule.

  2. Adjust the entry in the Starting Month field to show the dates when the employee is going away.

  3. Complete one of the following:

  1. Click Schedule Selected Dates.

The Schedule Editor displays.

  1. Complete the following in the Scheduled section:

  1. In the In and Out fields, select start and finish times for the vacation/time off.

  2. In the Activity field, select a vacation work activity.

  1. Click Save.
