4. Set Up Port Forwarding

The next step is to set up port forwarding on your router.

Notes:  

• You need to refer to the documentation provided with your router to complete this step.

• If you decide to change the port used for the web site where you have the Millennium SDK installed, you need to update the HarmsBridgeMillennium.ini file to reflect this change.  Click here for instructions.

1. Find out the port used for the web site where you have the Millennium SDK installed.

• Windows XP / Windows Server 2003

  1. Press Windows Logo+R or select Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.

  The Run window displays.

  2. Type "inetmgr" and press Enter.

  The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager displays.

  3. On the left side of the screen, double-click the server connection and double-click Web Sites.

  A list of web sites displays.

  4. Locate the web site where you installed the Millennium SDK and note the port number in the Port field.

   

• Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows 7

  1. Press Windows Logo+R or select Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.

  The Run window displays.

  2. Type "inetmgr" and press Enter.

  The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager displays.

  3. In the Connections panel, double-click the server connection and click Sites.

  A list of web sites displays.

  4. Locate the web site where you installed the Millennium SDK and note the port number in the Binding field.

   

• Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012

  1. On the Start screen, type "inetmgr" and press Enter.

  The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager displays.

  2. In the Connections panel, double-click the server connection and click Sites.

  A list of web sites displays.

  3. Locate the web site where you installed the Millennium SDK and note the port number in the Binding field.

   

2. Forward the port used for the web site where you installed the Millennium SDK to the static private IP address of the computer where you installed the Millennium SDK (e.g. 192.168.1.1).
