Defining a Multi-Product Package

Multi-product packages allow you to bundle complimentary products together to encourage clients to spend more on products.


  1. Select Data > Products > Product Definitions.

The Product Definitions window displays.

  1. Click New.
  2. Complete the following:
  1. In the Product Code field, type an identifying code for the package.

  2. In the Description field, type a name for the package.

  1. Select Multi-Product Package.
  2. Click Package Contents.

The Product Package window displays.

  1. Complete the following for each product you want to include in the package:
  1. Double‐click in the Product field, select the product, and click Ok.

  2. In the Quantity field, specify the quantity to include in the package.

  1. Click Ok.

  2. Click Yes.

  3. Move to the Pricing tab and define the prices to charge for the package.

  1. In the Markup field, type the percentage above the wholesale price of the products in the package to use as the retail price.  When you type a percentage, the retail price displays in the Retail field.

  2. In the Retail field, type the retail price for the package.

  3. In the Employee Price field, type the employee price for the package.  

Tip:  To view advanced options for setting the employee price, click $, select the pricing structure to use, and click Update ALL Products.

  1. Select Ignore Automatic Client Discounts to prevent clients who are set up to receive product discounts from getting a discount on the package.

  2. Select Do NOT Allow Points to prevent clients from earning reward points when they purchase the package.

  1. Click Save.
  2. Click No.

Note:  You can ring up a multi-product package by selecting the package in the Product field on the Register.
