Referral Trees

Referral trees allow you to analyze how much revenue that referrals are generating.  Following are some of the most common referral sources:

Millennium creates a referral tree for every referral type that brings a new client to your business, and the tree continues to grow when the referred clients refer additional new clients.

Example:  The following diagram illustrates the referral tree for Jane.  Jane referred two people who in turn referred three people.  This means that Jane's lifetime value includes the money spent by all five of the clients in her referral tree.

For referral types such as clients and employees, referral trees allow you to view the lifetime value of each client and employee.  For referral types such as advertisements and web sites, referral trees allow you to determine whether you are seeing a return on your advertising spending.

Viewing Referral Trees

The Millennium Referral Tree window displays the referral trees for each referral type.

You can access the Millennium Referral Tree window by selecting Marketing > Referral Tree.

If you select a referral type and click Analyze Referral Tree, a referral tree displays with a list of clients referred by the referral type during the specified date range.  The Total Generated to-date field displays the amount of revenue generated from the clients in the tree.
