Recording client referrals is essential for the following reasons:
Rewarding employees = Tracking referrals allows you to reward employees that refer a large number of clients, which helps to encourage achievement of referral-related goals.
Click on the toolbar.
The Appointments for window displays.
In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter, or double-click in the field and locate the client's profile using the Quick Search window.
The client's details display.
Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.
The Client Information window displays.
Click Edit.
In the Referred By field, select how the client heard about your business.
If you select CLIENT or EMPLOYEE, specify the referring client or employee.
If the referral source is not listed, select *ADD REFERRAL* and define the referral source.
If OFFSITE displays, someone transferred the client's profile to your location from another location using the Central Office Client Information window. When this situation occurs, you should always leave OFFSITE selected as the referral source to maintain the integrity of your referral data.
Note: The OFFSITE referral type only displays if you are using Central Office.
Click Save.
