The following guide explains how to create a promotion to reward clients for prebooking. The promotion created in this example has the following characteristics:
New clients earn 5000 points when they are rung up for an appointment scheduled during their first visit
Existing clients earn 1000 points when they are rung up for a prebooked appointment
Existing clients with a standing appointment earn 1000 points after they are rung up for their appointment
Promotion runs throughout 2012
Clients can redeem points up until 2/28/2013
Select Clients > Client Points/Rewards.
The Client Points/Rewards window displays.
Click New.
Complete the following:
Type "2012 - Prebooking" in the Promotion Name field.
Type "1/1/2012" in the Begins field.
Type "1/1/2013" in the End field.
Type "2/28/2013" in the Redeem by field.
Type "1000 = $1.00" in the Redeeming Points fields.
Select "Points for pre-booking during first visit (new clients)" in the Promotion Options list.
Click Edit Settings.
Type "5000" in the Points for Pre-booking Next Service during First Visit field.
Click Save Settings.
Select "Points for pre-booking next service at time of ring-up" in the Promotion Options list.
Click Edit Settings.
Type "1000" in the Points for Pre-booking Next Service during First Visit field.
Click Save Settings.
Click Save.
