The following guide explains how to create a promotion to reward existing clients for trying a new service. The promotion created in this example has the following features:
Clients with more than three visits earn 10000 points when they are rung up for a service in the Hair Removal service class for the first time
Promotion runs throughout 2012
Clients can redeem points up until 2/28/2013
Select Clients > Client Points/Rewards.
The Client Points/Rewards window displays.
Click the New.
Complete the following:
Type "2012 - Try a Hair Removal Service" in the Promotion Name field.
Type "1/1/2012" in the Begins field.
Type "1/1/2013" in the End field.
Type "2/28/2013" in the Redeem by field.
Type "1000 = $1.00" in the Redeeming Points fields.
Select "Points for trying a service class for the first time" in the Promotion Options list.
Click Edit Settings.
Complete the following:
Type "10000" and select "Hair Removal" in the _ Points for Trying _ fields.
Type "3" in the (Does not apply to clients with less than _ visits) field.
Click Save Settings.
Click Save.
