Cancelling a Membership

You should cancel a membership in situations where the client is no longer able to use their membership privileges.

Notes:  


  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Appointments for window displays.

  1. In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter, or double-click in the field and locate the client's profile using the Quick Search window.

  1. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

The client's profile displays.

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Click Membership.

The Membership Maintenance window displays.

  1. Click Cancel Membership.

The Cancel Membership window displays.

  1. In the Reason for Cancellation field, select the reason why the client is cancelling the membership.

  2. Select one of the following options:

  1. Click Save.

  2. Click Yes.

Tip:  If a notification displays asking whether you would like to cancel the client's prepaids, click Yes to allow the client to redeem their remaining prepaids or click No to cancel the prepaids.

A notification displays to confirm the cancellation and any affected add-on members display.

  1. Click OK.

The cancellation and termination dates for the membership display at the bottom of the Membership Maintenance window.

Important:  If you cancel a membership within 3 days of sale, Millennium deducts the commission paid to the employee credited with the sale automatically.  If you cancel a membership after the 3-day grace period, you have to adjust the employee's commission manually.

  1. (Optional)  Process a refund for the enrollment fee.
