Voiding a Membership

You should void a membership if you made a major mistake during ring up.

Important:  You should cancel a membership if the client is no longer able to use their membership privileges.  Click here for instructions.


  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Appointments for window displays.

  1. In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter, or double-click in the field and locate the client's profile using the Quick Search window.

  1. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

The client's profile displays.

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Click Membership.

The Membership Maintenance window displays.

  1. Click the Membership History tab.

  2. Select the membership.

  3. Click View/Void Membership Transaction.

  4. Click OK.

The Register displays.

  1. Click Void.

  2. Click Yes.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Click Save.

Note:  If the membership has an enrollment fee and the client paid with cash, select Register > Open Cash Drawer and refund the amount paid out of the drawer.
