4. Set Permissions

The next step is to set permissions so that the users can access the Millennium data on the server.

Note:  Start at Step 16 if you enabled the Millennium folder to share data with other computers when you installed Millennium.

1. Open the folder where you have Millennium installed.

Tip:  The default location is C:\Harms\.

2. Right-click on the Millennium folder and select Properties.

The Millennium Properties window displays.

3. Click the Sharing tab and click Advanced Sharing.

The Advanced Sharing window displays.

4. Select Share this folder.

The Settings fields display.

5. Click Permissions.

The Permissions for Millennium window displays.

6. In the Permissions for Everyone section, select Allow next to Full Control.

7. Click OK.

The Advanced Sharing window displays.

8. Click Caching.

The Offline Settings window displays.

9. Select Files or programs from the share will not be available offline.

10. Click OK twice.

The Millennium Properties window displays.

11. Click the Security tab and click Edit.

The Permissions for Millennium window displays.

12. Click Add.

The Select Users or Groups window displays.

13. Type "everyone" in the Enter the object names to select field and click OK.

The Everyone group displays in the list on the Permissions for Millennium window.

14. In the Permissions for Everyone section, select Allow next to Full Control.

15. Click OK twice.
16. Complete one of the following:

• 32-bit operating systems = Open the C:\Program Files\Common Files\ folder.

• 64-bit operating systems = Open the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ folder.

17. Right-click on the Harms folder and select Properties.
18. Repeat Steps 3-15 to set permissions on the Harms folder.
