Distributor Interface

The distributor interface of RemoteBusiness allows distributor consultants to view product sales history and on hand counts.

Important: You must provide distributor consultants with the following information before they can access RemoteBusiness:

General

Logging In
1. Open an internet browser and access the web address provided to you.
The Distributor Login page displays.
1. Type your login credentials and click GO.
The Distributor page displays.

Analysis

Viewing Product Sales & On Hand Counts
The Average Sales and Products On-Hand page allows you to view the average sales per week and stocking levels for each product line and product class.
1. Click the Average Sales and Products On-Hand tab.
The Average Sales and Products On-Hand page displays.
1. In the Manufacturer field, select a manufacturer for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all manufacturers.
2. In the Product Class field, select a product class for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all product classes.
3. (Optional) Select Include only products sold within the last 3 months to display products sold during the last three months only.
4. Click Go.
A list of products matching the specified criteria displays.
Viewing Product Sales by Employee
The Employee Product Sales page allows you to view a detailed breakdown of the product sales for each employee, which is useful if you must pay incentives for selling specific products.
1. Click the Employee Product Sales tab.
The Employee Product Sales page displays.
1. In the Employee field, select an employee for which to view data.
2. In the Product Class field, select a product class for which to view data or select "All Product Classes".
3. In the Manufacturer field, select a manufacturer for which to view data or select "All".
4. In the Year field, select the year for which to view data.
5. Select one of the following options:
- Amounts = Select to display the product sales revenue for each month in the selected year.
- Quantities = Select to display the number of the products sold during each month in the selected year.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Table = Select to display the sales data in a table.
- Graph = Select to display the sales data in a bar chart.
1. Click Calculate.
The product sales data for the selected employee displays.

Tip: Select Table or Graph to view the data in a different format.
Viewing the Best/Worst-Selling Products
The Top N Product Analysis page allows you to determine the best/worst-selling products.
1. Click the Top N Product Analysis tab.
The Top N Product Analysis page displays.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Top N (most sold) = Select if you want to view the best-selling products.
- Bottom N (least sold) = Select if you want to view the worst-selling products.
1. In the Class field, select a product class for which to view data or select "All".
2. In the Manufacturer field, select a manufacturer for which to view data or select "All".
3. Select one of the following options to determine the number of results to display:
- Specific Number = Type the number to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10 or Top 25).
- Specific Percentage = Select % and type the percentage to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10% or Top 25%).
1. Select Products.
2. In the Based on Sales Between fields, select a date range for which to view data.
3. Select one of the following options:
- Base Sales on Quantity Sold = Select to sort the data by the number of products sold.
- Base Sales on Amount Sold = Select to sort the data by the sales revenue for each product.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Table = Select to display the sales data in a table.
- Graph = Select to display the sales data in a bar chart.
1. Click Go.
The list of best/worst selling products displays.
Viewing an Inventory Listing
The Inventory Listing page displays detailed information for each product, including the current on hand value, model quantity, order point, and suggested order quantity for each product.

Important: Discontinued products do not display on the Inventory Listing page even if they on hand value is greater than zero.
1. Click the Inventory Listing tab.
The Inventory Listing page displays.
1. In the Manufacturer field, select a manufacturer for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all manufacturers.
2. In the Distributor field, select a distributor for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all distributors.
3. (Optional) Deselect Low Inventory if you want to display details for all products.
Tip: If Low Inventory is selected, only products with a low on hand count display.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Retail and Professional Supplies = Select to display data for retail items and professional supplies.
- Retail Only = Select to only display data for retail items.
- Professional Supplies Only = Select to only display data for professional supplies.
1. Click Go.
A list of products matching the specified criteria displays.
