Defining a Tanning Bed

The Tanning Beds window allows you to define the beds used for tanning services.  Once you define a tanning bed, you receive alerts when you need to replace the lamps on the bed.

Notes:  

• You must select "YES" for the Show Tanning Button preference on the Business Information window before you can sell tanning services.  Click here for instructions on how to configure this preference.

• In addition, you must define tanning packages so that clients can prepay for their tanning sessions.  Click here for instructions.

1. Select Data > Tanning > Tanning Beds.

The Tanning Beds window displays.

2. Click New.
3. Complete the following:

1. In the Tanning Bed Name field, type the name of the tanning bed (including model number).

2. In the Bulbs Last Changed field, select the date when the bulbs in the bed were last changed.

3. In the Notify me after these bulbs used _ hours field, select the number of hours of usage at which to display an alert about changing the bulbs.

4. Click Save.
