Configuring Add-On Services

Add-on services allow you to link complimentary services so that employees can view upsell opportunities when scheduling an appointment.  This helps to increase the average amount spent during each visit and enhance the client experience.

Example:  You could use an aromatherapy service as an add-on service for massages.

You can assign add-ons to specific services, specific service classes, or all services and you can create multiple combinations of add-ons as necessary.

Tip:  Employees should perform add-on services during the normal time taken to perform the service they compliment.  Therefore, you should define a new service record for every add-on service with the appointment length set to "0" minutes.


  1. Select Data > Services > Service Add-ons.

The Service Add-Ons window displays.

  1. Click New.
  2. In the Mapping Name field, specify the type of services for which you are defining add-ons.
  3. In the Applies to section, select the services for which to configure add-ons.
  1. In the Add-on Services section, select complimentary services for the services you selected in the Applies to section.
  1. Click Save.
