Defining a Prescription Category

You can define prescription categories in Millennium so that employees can recommend products for specific body, hair, or skin types to clients. When you select a prescription category in a client's profile, a list of products to recommend to the client displays.

Important: Once you define a prescription category, you must assign it to a product class so that employees can recommend those products to clients.

Select Data > Products > Prescription Categories.

The Prescription Categories window displays.

Click New.
In the Prescription Category field, type the part of the anatomy on which the products are used.

Examples: "Hair" or "Skin".

In the Prescription/Description fields, type the conditions for which the products are used.

Examples: "Color Treated Hair" or "Dry Skin".

Click Save.
Select Data > Products > Product Classes.

The Product Classes window displays.

Click the Listing tab.
Select the product class you want to assign to the prescription category and click the Maintenance tab.
Click Edit.
Click Save.
