Configuring Package & Series Preferences

  1. Select Data > Business Information and Preferences.

The Business Information window displays.

  1. Click Edit and move to the Preferences tab.
  1. Select "Register" in the Category field.
  2. Move to the Preferences list and make selections using the following table as a guide:

Allow a tip to be added to Pre-paid Series/Package

Select to allow clients to purchase packages/series that include a prepaid tip.

Select to prevent clients from being able to purchase packages/series that include a prepaid tip.

Pre-Paids can be used on any items with same package price

Select to allow clients to redeem a prepaid service from a package/series to pay for a different service, if the value of the prepaid is the same as the package price for the service.

Select to allow clients to redeem a prepaid service to pay for the same service.

Only Allow Pre-Paid Pkgs to be Used by Recipient.  No Sharing

Select to prevent clients from sharing the prepaid services in their package/series with other clients.

Select to allow clients to share the prepaid services in their package/series with other clients.

Refund pkgs based on Price? (NO = Value)

Select to refund the price paid at the time of sale when you refund a package/series.

Select to refund the value of the package/series at the time of sale when you refund a package/series.

  1. Click the Data Format tab.

  1. Complete the following in the Packages fields:

  1. In the Prefix field, type the prefix to use for package/series numbers.

  2. In the Next # field, type the number to assign the next package/series sold.

  3. In the Max # field, type the highest number to assign to a package/series before using the number entered in Next # to start the sequence again.

  1. Click the Fields tab.

  2. (Optional) In the Pkg/Series field, type the term you use for packages and series.

Note:  The term you type replaces the word "Pkg/series" in the names of fields and windows throughout Millennium.

  1. Click Save.
