If you are going to stop selling a gift certificate or only want to sell a gift certificate at specific times of year, you should deactivate the gift certificate. This allows you to keep the sales and usage history for the gift certificate and gives you the flexibility to reactivate the gift certificate in the future.
Important: When you deactivate a gift certificate, you cannot ring up the gift certificate. However, clients can still redeem gift certificates purchased before the deactivation.
Select Data > Packages/Series.
