Configuring a New Alert

  1. Select Alerts > New Alert Wizard.

The New Alert Wizard displays.

  1. Select the alert you want to configure.
  1. Click Next.

The Select the User Logins that will trigger this alert screen displays.

  1. Select the employees who can trigger the alert and click Next.

The Select the notification settings and User Logins for this alert screen displays.

  1. Select the desired delivery methods for the alert:
  1. Select Display Toast PopUp to display a pop-up message in Millennium.

  2. Select Page Employee to send a message to the employee's pager.

Note:  You should only select this option if you use the Auto-Page System.

  1. Select Email Employee to send an email to the employee's email address.

Note:  You should only select this option if you have set up the Millennium.Mail Service.  Refer to the Millennium Services Setup Guide for setup instructions.

  1. Select Send SMS Message to send a text message to the employee's cell phone.

Note:  You should only select this option if you have set up the Millennium SMS Service.  Refer to the Millennium Services Setup Guide for setup instructions.

  1. Select mini instant message to send a message readable in Millennium mini.

Note:  You should only select this option if you use Millennium mini.

  1. Select Once Per Day to send one alert in situations where the alert triggers multiple times.

  1. Select the employees who you want to receive the alert.
  2. Click Add Alert and click OK.
