Transferring Points Between Clients

If a client wants to give points that they earned to a friend or family member, you transfer points between the clients using the Manual Points/Value Override window.  The recipient can then redeem the points as normal.


  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Appointments for window displays.

  1. In the Client field, type the name of the client giving the points in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter.

The client's details display.

  1. Click .

The Points/Rewards History window displays.

  1. Click Manual Points/Value Adjustment.

The Manual Points/Value Override window displays.

  1. Select Remove Points/Value.

Important:  Do not click Add Points/Value and select to add a negative amount of points to deduct points from the client.  This causes discrepancies with the client's points balance.

  1. Select one of the following options:
  1. In the Reason field, type a note to explain the transfer.

Example:  Transferred to Jane Smith.

  1. Click Ok.

The client's new points balance displays in the Total Points and Point Value fields.

  1. Click Close.

The Appointments for window displays.

  1. In the Client field, type the name of the client receiving the points in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter.

The client's details display.

  1. Click .

The Points/Rewards History window displays.

  1. Click Manual Points/Value Adjustment.

The Manual Points/Value Override window displays.

  1. Select Add Points/Value.
  2. Select one of the following options:
  1. Complete the following:
  1. In the Expires field, select an expiration date for the points.

  2. In the Reason field, type a note to explain the transfer.

Example:  Transferred from Anne Smith.

  1. Click Ok.

The transfer is complete and the client's new points balance displays in the Total Points and Point Value fields.
