Preventing Points From Being Awarded

• Preventing a Client Earning Points

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Appointments for window displays.

  2. In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter.

  The client's details display.

  3. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

  The client's profile displays on the Client Information window.

  4. Deselect Allow Points/Rewards.

  

  5. Click Save.

   

• Preventing a Client Earning Points on a Specific Transaction

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Register displays.

  2. Deselect Points.

  

  3. Ring up the transaction as normal.

   

• Preventing Clients Earning Points on a Specific Product

  1. Select Data > Products > Product Definitions.

  The Product Definitions window displays.

  2. Click the Listing tab.
  3. Select the product and click the Maintenance tab.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Select Do NOT Allow Points.

  

  6. Click Save.

   

• Preventing Clients Earning Points on a Specific Service

  1. Select Data > Services > Service Definitions.

  The Service Definitions window displays.

  2. Click the Listing tab.
  3. Select the service and click the Maintenance tab.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Select Do NOT Allow Points.

  

  6. Click Save.
