Appointment reminders allow you to send clients an email or text message containing details about their upcoming appointment. The Automated Marketing feature allows you to send automated emails and text messages to targeted groups of clients at specified intervals.
If a client wants to receive appointment reminders and/or automated emails and text messages, you need to define a number of preferences on the Notification Preferences window.
Click on the toolbar.

In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter, or double-click in the field and locate the client's profile using the Quick Search window.
The client's details display.
Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.
The client's profile displays.
The Notification Preferences window displays.
Select SMS Reminder if the client wants to receive appointment reminders by text message.
Select SMS Marketing if the client wants to receive automated text messages.
Select Email Reminder if the client wants to receive appointment reminders by email.
Select Email Marketing if the client wants to receive automated emails.
Select Payment Reminders if the client wants to receive automated reminders about their membership and payment plan payments.
Important: You can only send reminders about membership and payment plan payments if you have set up the Millennium Payment Reminder Service. Refer to the Millennium Services Setup Guide for setup instructions.
Tips:
Clients can unsubscribe from SMS appointment reminders by replying "RMSTOP" to a reminder message.
Clients can unsubscribe from automated text messages by replying "MKSTOP" to an automated message.
