5. Configure Millennium

The next step is to configure settings for the Fidelio interface in Millennium.

  1. Access Millennium with an administrator account.

  2. Click on the toolbar.

The Millennium Intelli-Text Control window displays.

  1. Type "DU000" in the OR type a report number here field and click Ok.

The Reports & Graphs window displays.

  1. Click Print and print the report on an available printer as normal.

  2. Return to the Reports & Graphs window and complete the following:

  1. Select "Services" in the Report Category field.

  2. Select "DV000: Basic Service Class Information" in the Report List field.

  1. Click Print and print the report on an available printer as normal.
  2. Select Data > Business Information and Preferences.

The Business Information window displays.

  1. Click PMS Sales Itemizer Definitions.

The PMS Sales Outlet\Itemizer Definitions window displays.

  1. Click Edit and complete the following:

  1. Using the DU000 and DV000 reports as a guide, type the sales itemizers to use for your product and service classes in the Services Itemizer and Products Itemizer fields.

  2. Select Ignore Guest's Available Credit limit When Posting if you want to allow guests to exceed their credit limit when posting charges.

  1. Click Save.
  2. Select Data > Products > Product Classes.

The Product Classes window displays.

  1. Complete the following for every product class:

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Select a sales itemizer for the product class in the PMS Class field.

  3. Click Save.

  1. Select Data > Services > Service Classes.

The Service Classes window displays.

  1. Complete the following for every service class:

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Select a sales itemizer for the service class in the PMS Class field.

  3. Click Save.

  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Millennium Intelli-Text Control window displays.

  1. Type "PMS00M" in the OR type a report number here field and click Ok.

The Reports & Graphs window displays.

  1. Click Print and print the report on an available printer as normal.

  2. Using the PMS00 report as a guide, enter the sales outlets and sales itemizers into Fidelio.
