MR015: Client Sales Summary

The MR015: Client Sales Summary report displays a demographic analysis of the clients serviced during the specified date range.

Following are descriptions of the fields on the MR015 report.

• Clients section

  

  • Total Client Visits = Number of new and repeat clients serviced during the report date range.

  • Repeat Client Visits = Number of repeat clients serviced (including repeat retained and new retained clients).

  • New Client Visits = Number of new clients serviced.  New clients are new to the business and not new to the employee, with a first visit during the report date range.

   

• Gender/Marital Status section

  

  • # Clients = Number of clients from each gender and marital status that visited the business during the report date range.

  • % = Percentage of clients from each gender and marital status that visited the business during the report date range, calculated as follows:

  # Clients / Total Number of Clients * 100

   

• Grouping by Age section

  

  • # Clients = Number of clients within each age group.

  • Total Spent = Total amount spent by the clients within each age group.

  • Avg. Spent = Average amount spent per ticket by clients within each age group, calculated as follows:

  Total Spent / # Clients

  • Total Service = Total amount spent on services by clients within each age group.

  • Avg. Service = Average amount spent on services by clients within each age group, calculated as follows:

  Total Service / # Clients

  • Total Retail = Total amount spent on retail by clients within each age group.

  • Avg. Retail = Average amount spent on retail by clients within each age group, calculated as follows:

  Total Retail / # Clients

  • # Visits = Number of visits by clients within each age group.

  • Avg. # Visits = Average number of visits by clients within each age group, calculated as follows:

  # Visits / # Clients

  Important:  The Avg. # Visits amount rounds to the nearest whole number.  For instance, 2.5 rounds to 3, 2.4 rounds to 2, etc.

   

Running the MR015 Report

1. Click on the toolbar.

2. Type "MR015" in the OR type a report number here field and press Enter.

3. Select dates and times for which to view data.

4. Click Preview.

5. Review the report.

6. Complete the following as necessary:

• Convert the report to a PDF

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Export window displays.

  2. Select "Adobe Acrobat (PDF)" in the Format field.

  3. Select "Disk File" in the Destination field.

  4. Click Ok.

  The Export Options window displays.

  5. Select All.

  6. Click OK.

  The Choose export file window displays.

  7. Specify an export location for the PDF file.

  8. Click Save.

   

• Export the report to Microsoft Excel

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Export window displays.

  2. Select "Microsoft Excel 97-2000 – Data only (XLS)" in the Format field.

  3. Select "Application" in the Destination field.

  4. Click Ok.

  The Excel Format Options window displays.

  Tip:  Click Options >>> if the expanded version of this window does not display.

  5. Select the display and export options for the report data.

  6. Click OK.

  Microsoft Excel opens with the exported report data displayed in a new spreadsheet.

   

• Print the report

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Print window displays.

  2. Select a printer.

  3. Click Print.
