Employee Interface

The employee interface of RemoteBusiness allows employees to view their appointments, schedules, and sales. The following guides explain how to use the employee interface.

General

Logging In
1. Open a web browser.
2. Complete one of the following based on the scenario:
- Access RemoteBusiness from a computer at your business = Access "http://1.1.1.1/login.asp", where "1.1.1.1" is the static private IP address of the computer where you have RemoteBusiness installed.
- Access RemoteBusiness from a remote location = Access "http://2.2.2.2/login.asp", where "2.2.2.2" is the static public IP address of the computer where you have RemoteBusiness installed.
- Access RemoteBusiness from a mobile device = Access "http://2.2.2.2/wap/login.asp", where "2.2.2.2" is the static public IP address of the computer where you have RemoteBusiness installed.
Important: Your mobile device must support Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) in order to access RemoteBusiness.

The Employee Login page displays.
1. Type your Millennium login credentials and click GO/Log In.
The Welcome page displays.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.

Appointments & Schedules

Viewing Appointments
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Appointment Book tab.
The My Appointment Book page displays with your appointments for this week.

Notes:
- Click to view your appointments for last week.
- Click to view your appointments for next week.
- To view your appointments for a specific week, select a date in the Week Of field and click Go.
Viewing Schedules
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Schedule tab.
The My Schedule page displays with your schedule for today.

Tip: To view your schedule for a specific date range, select a date range in the Start Date and End Date fields and click Go.

Clients

Viewing Liability Balances
The Clients Liabilities page allows you to view a client's gift certificate, package, series, and account liability balances.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the Clients tab.
2. Click Clients Liabilities.
The Client Liabilities page displays.
1. Type the client's name in "firstname lastname" format and press Enter.
The client's current liability balances display.
Viewing Purchase History & Formulas
The Clients History and Formulas page allows you to view a client's purchase history and formulas.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the Clients tab.
2. Click Clients History and Formulas.
The Clients History and Formulas page displays.
1. Type the client's name in "firstname lastname" format and press Enter.
The client's purchase history and formulas display.

Analysis

Viewing Goal Attainment
The Employee Goals and Monitoring Station pages allow you to determine whether you are achieving your prebooking, sales, productivity, frequency of visit, and retention goals.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Goals tab.
2. Click Employee Goals.
The Employee Goals page displays with a comparison of your actual sales against sales goals for each month in the selected year.

Tip: Click to view your performance last year.
1. Click Monitoring Station.
The Hours for Sale and Pre-Book tab displays real-time data on the number of hours available for sale, number of appointments that were pre-booked, and the projected sales revenue for today.

Tip: Click or to view your performance on previous days or view projections for days in the future.
1. Click the Goals tab.
The Goals tab displays with a real-time analysis of how well you are attaining your goals today.

Tip: Click or to view your performance on previous days or view projections for days in the future.
Viewing Product Sales
The My Product Sales page allows you to view a detailed breakdown of your product sales.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Sales tab.
2. Click My Product Sales.
The My Product Sales page displays.
1. In the Product Class field, select a product class for which to view data or select "All Product Classes".
2. In the Manufacturer field, select a manufacturer for which to view data or select "All".
3. In the Distributor field, select a distributor for which to view data or select "All".
4. In the Year field, select the year for which to view data.
5. Select one of the following options:
- Amounts = Select to display the product sales revenue for each month in the selected year.
- Quantities = Select to display the number of the products sold during each month in the selected year.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Table = Select to display the sales data in a table.
- Graph = Select to display the sales data in a bar chart.
1. Click Calculate.
The sales data for the selected products displays.

Tip: Select Table or Graph to view the data in a different format.
Viewing Service Sales
The My Service Sales page allows you to view a detailed breakdown of your service sales.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Sales tab.
2. Click My Service Sales.
The My Service Sales page displays.
1. In the Service Class field, select a service class for which to view data or select "All Service Classes".
2. In the Service Sub-Class field, select a service subclass for which to view data or select "All Service Sub-Classes".
3. In the Year field, select the year for which to view data.
4. Select one of the following options:
- Amounts = Select to display the service sales revenue for each month in the selected year.
- Quantities = Select to display the number of the services sold during each month in the selected year.
1. Select one of the following options:
- Table = Select to display the sales data in a table.
- Graph = Select to display the sales data in a bar chart.
1. Click Calculate.
The sales data for the selected services displays.

Tip: Select Table or Graph to view the data in a different format.
Viewing Total Sales
The My Total Sales page allows you to view a detailed breakdown of your total sales, including the quantity sold and revenue generated for each item.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My Sales tab.
2. Click My Total Sales.
The My Total Sales page displays.
1. In the Sales From and To fields, select a date range for which to view data.
2. In the Sales Type field, select "ALL".
3. Click GO.
The sales data for the specified date range displays.

Instant Messaging

Sending an Instant Message
The Send Message page allows you to send an instant message to another Millennium or RemoteBusiness user.
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My IM tab.
2. Click Send Message.
The Send Message page displays.
1. In the To field, select a recipient for the message.
2. In the Subject field, type a title for the message.
3. In the Text field, type the message.
4. (Optional) Select Private if you want to indicate to the recipient that the message is confidential.
5. Click Go.
Tip: If the recipient is not currently using Millennium or RemoteBusiness, they will receive the message the next time that they log in.
Viewing an Instant Message
1. Click the Employee tab.
The Employee page displays.
1. Click the My IM tab.
2. Click My Messages.
The My Messages page displays with a list of unread instant messages.

Note: The My Messages page only displays unread messages.
1. Click Open next to the message you want to read.
The message displays.
