5. Install a Blank Central Office Database

The next step is to install a blank Central Office database on the new computer.

Note:  You must access Windows with an administrator account to complete this step.


  1. Insert the Central Office Installation DVD.

  2. Click Install Millennium CO Server Components.

  3. Click Install Millennium CO Database.

The installation wizard displays.

  1. Click Next.

The Select Installation Folder screen displays.

  1. Click Next.

The Confirm Installation screen displays.

  1. Click Next.

The Installation Complete screen displays once the installation finishes.

  1. Click Close.

The Millennium CO Database Install window displays.

  1. Complete the following:

  1. In the DB Administrator field, type the password for the SQL Server system administrator account.

  2. In the Data File Path field, type the location where you want to store the Central Office database.

Example:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Data

  1. In the Transaction Log File Path field, type the location where you want to store the transaction log for Central Office.

Example:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log

  1. Click OK.

A notification displays once the installer finishes creating the Central Office database.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Click here to proceed with the next step of the setup.
