If you are going to stop accepting a payment type or do not accept one of the standard payment types, you should deactivate the payment type. This gives you the flexibility to reactivate the payment type if you decide to accept the payment type in the future.
Important: When you deactivate a payment type, you cannot select the payment type when ringing up a sale.
Select Data > Credit Cards/Payment Types.
