Looking Up a Client Profile

Method 1

• Enter the client's name

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Appointments for window displays.

  2. In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter.

  Tip:  Press Ctrl+l to insert the name of the client last entered on the Appointment Editor or Register.

  The client's details display.

  3. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

  The client's profile displays on the Client Information window.

   

Method 2

• Perform a quick search

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Appointments for window displays.

  2. Click .

  The Quick Search window displays.

  3. Type information that you know about the client and press Enter.

  A list of search results displays.

  4. Double-click the correct client in the list.

  The client's details display.

  5. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

  The client's profile displays on the Client Information window.

   

Method 3

• Perform a keyword search

  1. Click on the toolbar.

  The Appointments for window displays.

  2. In the Client field, enter one of the following keywords:

  Area Code	973	Clients with a phone number that uses the 973 area code: 1-973-555-0011
  Last 4 Digits of Home or Business Phone Number	5632	Clients with 5632 as the last 4 digits of their home or business phone number: H = 1-973-908-5632 B = 1-414-213-5632
  Today's Appointments	#	Clients with an appointment today.
  State	!NJ	Clients living in New Jersey.
  Memberships	Z#	Clients with a membership.
  Specific Membership	z#1000	Client that purchased membership number 1000.
  Packages or Series	P#	Clients with a package or series.
  Specific Package or Series	P#1234	Client that purchased package or series number 1234.
  Gift Certificates	G#	Clients with a gift certificate.
  Specific Gift Certificate	G#4356	Client that purchased gift certificate number 4356.
  Account Charges	$	Clients with account charges.
  Phonetic Search	~Pegeno	George Pagano Rosemary Pegeneau
  Client Bar Code	Q9812	Client profile number 9812.
  Today's Appointments Not Checked Out	#!	Clients with appointments today who have not checked out.

  3. Press Enter

  The Client Search Results window displays.

  4. Double-click the correct client in the list.

  The client's details display.

  5. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

  The client's profile displays on the Client Information window.
