Placing Clients on Standby

The Pending Appointments window allows you to add clients who were unable to schedule an appointment at a desirable time to a waiting list.  This waiting list displays automatically when you cancel an appointment so that you can fill open slots with clients who are on standby.


  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Appointment Book displays.

  1. Click Pend on the left side of the Appointment Book.

The Pending Appointments window displays.

  1. Complete the following based on the scenario:

The client's details display.

  1. In the Services table, complete the following for each service the client was unable to schedule:
  1. In the Employee field, select the client's preferred service provider.

  2. Double-click in the Service field, select the service, and click OK.

  3. In the Resource field, select the resource required for the service.

  1. Select the dates and times when the client wants to book an appointment.
  1. Select the days when the client is available.
  2. Click Save.
