Using the Intelli-Merge Feature

The Intelli-Merge feature allows you to analyze your Millennium database and discover instances where clients have duplicate profiles.  You can then merge the duplicate profiles to create master profiles for each affected client.

Notes:  


  1. Select Data > Clients > Intelli-Merge.

The Intelli-Merge Clients window displays.

  1. Click Backup.

The Millennium.Backup window displays.

  1. Complete the following:
  1. Click Select Location.

  2. Specify a location and file name for the backup.

  3. Click Save.

  1. Click Backup.
  2. Click Yes.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Close the Millennium.Backup window.
  5. Complete the following:
  1. In the Define what you consider a "duplicate" record field, specify how you define a duplicate record.

  2. In the Only return the first _ duplicates found field, select the number of duplicate records to display.

  3. Select Merge next to the duplicate records that you want to merge.

  1. Click Merge Duplicates.
  2. Click OK.
