Defining Account Terms

If you want to allow a client to charge items to an account for payment later, you need to define account terms in their client profile.


  1. Click on the toolbar.

The Appointments for window displays.

  1. In the Client field, type the client's name in "lastname,firstname" format and press Enter, or double-click in the field and locate the client's profile using the Quick Search window.

  1. Right-click on the client's name and select Edit View/This.

The client's profile displays.

  1. Click the Account tab.

  2. Click Edit.

The Charging Not Allowed message displays.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Select Allow Account Charging in Register.

  3. Complete the following:

  1. In the Credit Limit field, type the credit limit for the client's account.

  2. In the Terms field, select the number of days after purchase that the client has to clear the balance of their account.

  1. Click Save.
