4. Configure Millennium

The next step is to configure settings for the Galaxy LightSpeed interface in Millennium.

Notes:  

• You need to know the correct settings to use for connections to Galaxy LightSpeed to complete this step.  Contact Galaxy Customer Support for more information.

• You also need to know the correct revenue center to use for each service class, product class, non-monetary payment type, monetary payment type.  You can obtain this information from the Galaxy LightSpeed application.

1. Access Millennium with an administrator account.

2. Select Data > Business Information and Preferences.

The Business Information window displays.

3. Click LightSpeed PMS Interface Settings.

The LightSpeed Interface Settings window displays.

4. Click Edit.
5. Complete the following:

1. In the Web service address field, type the address for the Galaxy LightSpeed Web Service.

Note:  Contact Galaxy Customer Support if you do not know this address.

2. In the Username field, type the user name for your Galaxy LightSpeed account.

3. In the Password field, type the password for your Galaxy LightSpeed account.

6. Complete the following based on the scenario:

Spa located in a hotel

1. In the Hotel # field, type the identifying number for the Galaxy LightSpeed Property Management System (PMS) at your hotel.

2. In the Hotel Name field, type the name of your hotel.

3. In the Post To Hotel # field, type the identifying number for the Galaxy LightSpeed PMS at your hotel.

Spa located in a multi-hotel resort

1. In the Hotel # field, type the identifying number for the Galaxy LightSpeed PMS at the hotel where you need to post charges.

2. In the Hotel Name field, type the name of the hotel where you need to post charges.

3. In the Post To Hotel # field, type the identifying number for the Galaxy LightSpeed PMS at the hotel where you need to post charges.

7. Select one of the following options:

• Only Post Folio Charges/Credits = Select to transfer details of charges and credits to Galaxy LightSpeed.

• Post All Transaction Activity = Select to transfer details of all transactions to Galaxy LightSpeed.

8. Move to the Service Classes tab and type the revenue center to use for each service class.
9. Click the Product Classes tab and type the revenue center to use for each product class.
10. Click the Other tab and type the revenue center to use for each non-monetary payment type.

Note:  If you want to post service charges to a separate revenue center, select the Post Service Charges Separately option and type the relevant revenue center.

11. Click the Payment Types tab and type details for each monetary payment type based on the settings defined in Galaxy LightSpeed.
12. Click Save.
13. Click here to proceed with the next step of the setup.
