Sales

• Viewing Product Sales by Employee

  1. Select Sales > Employee Product Sales.

  The Employee Product Sales page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) where the employee works.
  3. Complete the following:

  • Employee = Select the employee.

  • Product Class = Select a product class for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all product classes.

  • Manufacturer = Select a manufacturer for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all manufacturers.

  • Distributor = Select a distributor for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all distributors.

  • Year = Select the year for which to view data.

  4. Select one of the following options:

  • Base Sales on Quantity Sold = Select to sort the data by the number of products sold.

  • Base Sales on Amount Sold = Select to sort the data by the sales revenue generated.

  5. Click Show.

  The sales data displays at the bottom of the page.

  Tip:  Click the Graph button to view a visual representation of the data.

   

• Performing a Top N/Bottom N Analysis (Products)

  The Top N Product Analysis page allows you to analyze the best and worst selling products.  You can also use the Top N Product Analysis page to determine the clients that spend the most/least on products and the employees that sell the most/least products.

  1. Select Sales > Top N Products.

  The Top N Product Analysis page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view data.
  3. Complete the following:

  • Manufacturer = Select a manufacturer for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all manufacturers.

  • Distributor = Select a distributor for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all distributors.

  • Product Class = Select a product class for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all product classes.

  4. Select one of the following options:

  • Top N (Most Sold) = Select to view the best products/clients/employees.

  • Bottom N (Least Sold) = Select to view the worst products/clients/employees.

  5. Select one of the following options to determine the number of results to display:

  • Specific Number = Select the number to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10 or Top 25).

  • Specific Percentage = Select % and select the percentage to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10% or Top 25%).

  6. Select one of the following options:

  • Products = Select to display data on the best/worst selling products.

  • Clients = Select to display data on the clients who purchased the most/least products.

  • Employees = Select to display data on the employees who sold the most/least products.

  7. In the Based on Sales Between fields, select the date range for which to view data.
  8. Select one of the following options:

  • Base Sales on Quantity Sold = Select to sort the data by the number of products sold.

  • Base Sales on Amount Sold = Select to sort the data by the sales revenue generated.

  9. Click Show.

  The rankings display at the bottom of the page.

  Tip:  Click the Graph button to view a visual representation of the data.

   

• Viewing Service Sales by Employee

  1. Select Sales > Employee Service Sales.

  The Employee Service Sales page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) where the employee works.
  3. Complete the following:

  • Employee = Select the employee.

  • Service Class = Select a service class for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all service classes.

  • Year = Select the year for which to view data.

  4. Select one of the following options:

  • Base Sales on Quantity Sold = Select to sort the data by the number of services sold.

  • Base Sales on Amount Sold = Select to sort the data by the sales revenue generated.

  5. Click Show.

  The sales data displays at the bottom of the page.

  Tip:  Click the Graph button to view a visual representation of the data.

   

• Performing a Top N/Bottom N Analysis (Services)

  The Top N Service Analysis page allows you to analyze the best and worst selling services.  You can also use the Top N Service Analysis page to determine the clients that spend the most/least on services and the employees that generate the most/least service revenue.

  1. Select Sales > Top N Services.

  The Top N Service Analysis page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view data.
  3. In the Class field, select a service class for which to view data or leave the field blank to view data for all service classes.
  4. Select one of the following options:

  • Top N (Most Sold) = Select to view the best services/clients/employees.

  • Bottom N (Least Sold) = Select to view the worst services/clients/employees.

  5. Select one of the following options to determine the number of results to display:

  • Specific Number = Select the number to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10 or Top 25).

  • Specific Percentage = Select % and select the percentage to display in the Show Top field (e.g. Top 10% or Top 25%).

  6. Select one of the following options:

  • Services = Select to display data on the best-selling/worst-selling services.

• Viewing Sales for all Employees

  1. Select Sales > Total Sales.

  The Total Sales page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view data.
  3. Select a date range for which to view data.
  4. Select one of the following options:

  • All = Select to view details for all items sold and refunded.

  • Products = Select to only view details for product sales and refunds.

  • Services = Select to only view details for service sales and refunds.

  • Gift Certificates = Select to only view details for gift certificate sales and refunds.

  • Packages = Select to only view details for package/series sales and refunds.

  5. Click Get Sales.

  The sales and refund data displays at the bottom of the page.

  6. Select the following options as necessary:

  • Show Products = Click to display itemized detail of the sales and refunds for each product class.

  • Show Services = Click to display itemized detail of the sales and refunds for each service class.

  • Show GC's = Click to display itemized detail of the sales and refunds for each gift certificate type.

  • Show Packages = Click to display itemized detail of the sales and refunds for each package/series.

   

• Estimating Revenue from Scheduled Appointments

  The Estimate Cash Flow page displays a projection of the revenue from appointments scheduled during a specified date range.

  1. Select Sales > Estimated Sales Flow.

  The Estimate Cash Flow page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view data.
  3. Select a date range for which to view data.
  4. Complete the following as necessary:

  • Employee = Select an employee for which to view estimated revenue or leave the field blank to view the estimated revenue for all employees.

  • Service Class = Select a service class for which to view estimated revenue or leave the field blank to view the estimated revenue for all service classes.

  • Aggregate Results = Select to display cash flow projections for all locations combined sorted by service class.  Deselect to display cash flow projections sorted by location and then by service class.

  5. Click Show.

  The cash flow projection displays at the bottom of the page.

   

Liabilities

• Viewing Liability Balances

  1. Select Sales > GC,Pkg/Series,Tan Liabilities.

  The GC, Pkg, Series, Tanning Liabilities page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view liability balances.
  3. Select one of the following options:

  • Show All (even if no balance remaining or expired) purchased within the date range = Select to display details for all liabilities purchased within the specified date range.

  • Show only liabilities that expire within the following date range and have a remaining balance = Select to only display details for liabilities due to expire within the specified date range.

  4. Select a date range for which to view data.
  5. Click Go.

  The liabilities matching the specified criteria display.

  6. Complete the following as necessary:

  • Show Pkg/Series Details = Click to display itemized detail of the package and series liabilities.

  • Show Gift Certificates Details = Click to display itemized detail of the gift certificate liabilities.

  • Show Tanning Package Details = Click to display itemized detail of the tanning package liabilities.

   

Memberships

• Viewing Expiring Memberships

  1. Select Sales > Total Sales.

  The Total Sales page displays.

  2. Select the location(s) for which to view expiring memberships.
  3. Select a date range to analyze for expiring memberships.
  4. Click Run.

  Details for the memberships due to expire within the specified date range display at the bottom of the page.

   

Reports

• Running a Report

  The Reports page allows you to run reports for specific locations, specific regions, or all locations combined.  To make using the report data easier, you can export reports  as a PDF, Microsoft Word document, or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

  Note:  You must install Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word, and/or Microsoft Excel on your computer before you can run a report from Central Office.

  1. Select Reports.

  The Reports page displays.

  2. Select a report category.
  3. Select the report you want to run.
  4. Click Run Report.

  The Report Parameters window displays.

  5. Select the dates and times for which to view data.
  6. In the Report Output field, select the output format for the report:

  • PDF = Select to display the report as a PDF.

  • Word = Select to display the report as a Microsoft Word document.

  • Excel = Select to display the report as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

  7. Select one of the following options:

  • Run the report for all locations = Select All Locations.

  • Run the report for specific locations = Deselect All Locations and select the locations for which to view data.

  8. Select other report parameters as necessary.
  9. Click Run Report.

  The report displays in the specified format.
